Spanish II: No homework. If you would like an extra credit checkup grade, practice regular -ar, -er & -ir verbs on www.conjuguemos.com. It is under Spanish verbs, #2, Present tense regular verbs. You are able to conjugate all of the verbs even if they have not been in our vocabulary as the conjugation rules apply. You must complete a 5 minute exam and you must conjugate at least 20 verbs correctly in the 5 minutes – more if possible. You must obtain a 100% to get the grade. Keep trying until you achieve success. When you have succeeded click on record and send and I will get an email and/or print the final page that gives your score and information. If you need your username, email me and I will forward it to you. Every student has the same password: spanish. You must do the conjugate at least 20 verbs correctly in 5 minutes. I will accept grades up until January 31st.

Spanish II: Más práctica actividades 17, 18, 19 & 20. Study for checkup on Friday &/or Tuesday, 1/19 & 1/22. You will be responsible for knowing the new ar, er & ir verbs (vocabulary – know meanings as well as how to conjugate) as well as the new verbs with irregular yo forms (oír, hacer & conocer).

Spanish II: Más práctica actividades 7 & 9. Study for pruebecita (checkup) on regular -ar, -er & -ir verbs. The checkup is on straight conjugation. You will not be required to know the meanings of the verbs but you must be able to conjugate them correctly in various sentences.

These 5 pairs of sentences will be counted as part of the checkup next class on venir de & the places vocabulary. Study for checkup on places vocabulary from U4E1 & the verb venir. You must know all of the places (spelling counts – this includes accents) as well as how to correctly conjugate & use the verb venir. You will read what subjects just did & based on the activity write a sentence saying where they came from.
Spanish II: Más práctica actividades 14, 15 & 16. Study ar, er & ir verb conjugation for verb conjugation checkup on 1/14 & 1/15. The checkup will be strictly mechanics. You will be given a sentence and an infinitive verb. You are responsible for conjugating the verb correctly to fit into the sentence.

Spanish II: Textbook p. 151, actividad 3. Write 2 sentences for each of the four pictures. The first should tell where the subjects are located (use verb estar) and the second should say what they are doing in a complete sentence. ie: Modelo: Están en la cafetería. Comen y beben.

Spanish II: Write 9 sentences using the new -ar activity verbs learned today. You must use each of the 9 subject pronouns once (yo, tú, usted, él, ella, nosotros, ustedes, ellos, ellas). You must also use 9 of the 10 verbs. REMEMBER: Do not reuse any of the verbs and do not reuse any of the subject pronouns.
