Spanish III: 1)Complete Tener Idiom project if not completed in class. If you need the directions, look on the main page of my blog under Tener Idiom Project. I have included a copy.
2) Study the following tener idioms for checkup next class: tener cuidado, tener calor, tener frío, tener prisa, tener miedo, tener razón, tener sueño, tener suerte. You will be given 8 pictures with a written description. You must use the correct form of tener and the correct idiom to describe what the subject is feeling. Spelling counts!
3) Bring in a picture (photos, pictures from magazines, newspapers or internets are all acceptable) showing people doing some action that can be used to practice present progressive.

Spanish II: Más práctica actividades 12, 13 & 14. For exercise 14, you must respond in a complete sentence using a form of the verb ir to say where the subject is going to complete the described activity. Por ejemplo: a possible answer to number 1 would be, Juan va a la biblioteca. NOTE: If you do not write complete sentences for this exercise you will not receive homework credit for the exercise.
Begin to review for checkup on verb ir – Wednesday, October 17 and Monday, October 22, depending on your class schedule.

Spanish III: Study for checkup next class. Study weather, seasons, clothing worn during different types of weather & places. Review activities (verbs) learned previously that related to different seasons and weather. You will only be required to write out the seasons and the weather conditions. Spelling and grammatical correctness will count!

Spanish III: Más práctica actividades 7, 8 y 9. Study weather, season and related vocabulary to be prepared for a checkup on Wednesday, October 10 & Thursday, October 11, depending on your class schedule.

Spanish II: Complete Actividad 3, p. 128 as a take home checkup. You must rewrite the 8 sentences plus the two I have listed below, filling in the blank with the correctly conjugated verb. Note: If you do not rewrite the sentences, you will lose 5 points per question.
